Hello Reader, Have you ever reached the end of a week and thought: wow, a lot happened this week β and meant it in the best possible way? Not the overwhelmed, exhausted kind of "a lot." The feel-good, neurochemical kind. π It's been a while since I've had a week like that β one where I felt genuinely grounded, happy, and joyful. But this was that week. The un-Corporate Leader officially launched. Many of you have been with me for a while β following along, cheering me on, watching this idea take shape. But my broader community is just now finding out what I've been building. The ability to reconnect with people, to finally release this seed of an idea that has grown into something far more meaningful than I ever imagined β it's been moving in the best possible way. It isn't a big movement yet. But the ripple is in the water, and I can't wait to see how far it goes. π With this launch, the Hey Silvia Blog will officially retire. But my mission remains exactly the same: To make the workplace logical, efficient, and humane. Standing for curiosity, integrity, and accountability β and sharing insights on how to navigate the intersection of Business and Talent Strategy. Because the best way to drive profit, innovation, and human potential β whether you're in a startup or a Fortune 500 β is to get clear on how your organization functions, and then align your people to make it happen. If you haven't had a chance to tune in to the podcast, now is a great time. ποΈ Episode 8: You Don't Have a Talent Problem (Yet) drops Monday β and fair warning, it's a spicy one. βListen hereβ Have a wonderful weekend, and be well. P.S. E7: The 3 steps to diagnose why your organization isnβt delivering is live! I share a few more tips on making life as a leader a little easier β catch it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. P.P.S. I have a few spots open for 1:1 work in the Leadership Reset β a 3-month coaching program built around the 5 Pillars of Leadership to help you navigate the ever-changing world of leading others, without losing your sanity in the process. If you're interested, reach out and we'll find some time to see if it's the right fit. Leaders who've gone through this intensive have walked away with greater clarity, sharper focus, and time back in their busy schedules β and I'd love the same for you. |

Hey Reader Welcome to Episode 8 of the un-Corporate Leader Podcast β where this week we tackle one of the most common frustrations I hear from leaders: What do I do when I have a talent problem? You know what it's like β someone on your team isn't delivering, and you're already mentally drafting the corrective action plan. But what if the issue isn't them? What if the real gap is clarity β and it starts with you? In this week's episode, we'll cover: Why focusing on talent too soon can...
Hey Reader, Episode 6 is live and itβs a good one: 3 Steps to Influence any Exec. Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcast or via Web. Inside today's show: You know the moment. You've laid out the perfect rollout plan for your project, program, or strategy β and then you're asked to have just one more conversation with that exec. You happily schedule a quick 30-minute chat, fully expecting it to wrap in 15. But you're barely two slides in when the whole thing goes sideways. If that sounds familiar,...
Hey Reader, I've been thinking a lot about the launch of my rebrand β the website, podcast, and coaching program β and how differently this launch has gone compared to when I started my first coaching practice nearly 15 years ago. Over the years, I've learned a few things about running a business, marketing, and communication. But more importantly, I've learned some valuable lessons about myself. The woman I was back then was still finding her way. If things weren't just right, I would scrap...
