The ripple is in the water 🌊

Hello Reader,

Have you ever reached the end of a week and thought: wow, a lot happened this week β€” and meant it in the best possible way?

Not the overwhelmed, exhausted kind of "a lot." The feel-good, neurochemical kind. 😊

It's been a while since I've had a week like that β€” one where I felt genuinely grounded, happy, and joyful. But this was that week.

The un-Corporate Leader officially launched.

Many of you have been with me for a while β€” following along, cheering me on, watching this idea take shape. But my broader community is just now finding out what I've been building. The ability to reconnect with people, to finally release this seed of an idea that has grown into something far more meaningful than I ever imagined β€” it's been moving in the best possible way.

It isn't a big movement yet. But the ripple is in the water, and I can't wait to see how far it goes. 🌊

With this launch, the Hey Silvia Blog will officially retire. But my mission remains exactly the same:

To make the workplace logical, efficient, and humane.

Standing for curiosity, integrity, and accountability β€” and sharing insights on how to navigate the intersection of Business and Talent Strategy. Because the best way to drive profit, innovation, and human potential β€” whether you're in a startup or a Fortune 500 β€” is to get clear on how your organization functions, and then align your people to make it happen.

If you haven't had a chance to tune in to the podcast, now is a great time. πŸŽ™οΈ

Episode 8: You Don't Have a Talent Problem (Yet) drops Monday β€” and fair warning, it's a spicy one.

Have a wonderful weekend, and be well.

P.S. E7: The 3 steps to diagnose why your organization isn’t delivering is live! I share a few more tips on making life as a leader a little easier β€” catch it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

P.P.S. I have a few spots open for 1:1 work in the Leadership Reset β€” a 3-month coaching program built around the 5 Pillars of Leadership to help you navigate the ever-changing world of leading others, without losing your sanity in the process. If you're interested, reach out and we'll find some time to see if it's the right fit.

Leaders who've gone through this intensive have walked away with greater clarity, sharper focus, and time back in their busy schedules β€” and I'd love the same for you.

Hello Reader, This week I onboarded a new client β€” a part-time interim engagement β€” and I'm loving it. There's nothing quite like stepping into an organization in the middle of change. Some leaders find it daunting. Others prefer a clean slate. But I'm energized by the potential that lives inside chaos β€” or just on the other side of it. When I think about change, an organization in transition is full of possibility. Getting to help set direction, shape people strategy, and align systems,...

Hey Reader, Episode 9 of the un-Corporate Leader Podcast has dropped β€” where this week we tackle one of the most misused phrases in leadership: Culture Fit. You know what it's like β€” something feels off with a team member, and you can't quite put your finger on it. So you call it a culture fit issue. But if that's all you've got, that's a problem β€” and a legal and bias risk you don't want to ignore. Handled correctly though, culture fit is one of the most powerful tools you have as a leader....

Hello Reader, One week in and we are 240 downloads and counting. I love seeing the reviews and hearing about the impact that the un-Corporate Leader podcast is having. This is my favorite new leadership podcast! The conversations are relevant, engaging and full of takeaways that can be applied in real-world leadership and HR situations. Highly recommend for anyone who cares about building strong teams and leading with intention. No one ever said this was going to be easy, but it sure is fun....
